midlifecrisis Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 So, I have been talking with one of the site sponsors on email, and it has become painfully obvious to me that the guys that me and my buddies are taking our bikes to here in Durham, Ontario are riding us hard. I will send as much work to him (our site sponsor) as I can from now on, when time permits. For when Im in a bind for time though, does anyone who lives or rides in canada or more specifically ontario, have a place where we can go for honest work? Quote
sangheraent Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 most people in canada shaft riders hard. my local dealerships here in bc shaft people so hard that even after paying 10-15 bucks shipping on a 5 dollar part its still cheaper buying from the us. and port work forget about it all you get here is some garbage. i once paid 3 grand to rebuild a dirt bike. i was young and stupid now that same rebuild cost me 600. midlifecrisis Posted June 19, 2010 Author Report Posted June 19, 2010 (edited) This is exactly what Im talking about, I guess all of the builders are american. I have been helped out immensely by Alfie, but hes on your coast, and it will cost me a fortune in shipping, just to get parts. Its costing me $700, to buy my pistons etc..and get my cylinders honed, and he took 1mm off the walls without checking with me first. Edited June 19, 2010 by midlifecrisis Quote
