CadyRidah Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Anyone know what's wrong with this Banshee? It starts up but on the right side the exhaust pressure is normal and on the left side barely any pressure comes out. It's like it's barely running. Anyone know what might be the problem? Quote

TeamRealtreeHD Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I had this problem... it turned out to be a reed petal was damaged. All good info above. Check everything. Compression test, rip the intakes off and check the reeds, etc. Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I had the same problem a little more than a month ago, and it ended up being a bad coil. It would only fire both sides, when the coil was cold, and as soon as it got warmed up, the left side would quit. Quote

CadyRidah Posted June 17, 2010 Author Report Posted June 17, 2010 Ok it's not the coil. I did notice that when it runs only the side with low exhaust pressure, the pipes are cold. So it's like there's no combustion at all going on in that cylinder. I didn't do a compression test yet but when I crank it and put my finger over the hole it feels just like the side that runs fine. I won't find out for sure if it's bad until I do the compression test though. So I guess the only thing left if the compression is good is the reeds. Could it be anything else?
