xXBlessedWithDeathXx Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 The best i found to clean them is a Hotsy. you will see rust you never new you had after you use one of these. i have a link to what they are below. http://www.heatechinc.com/used-equipment.htm Quote
hondamxerd Posted May 17, 2010 Author Report Posted May 17, 2010 lmao..... i really screwed up, but i did find out what can get gunk off... i tried oven cleaner, if you just put it on for an hour or so it does ok, so i decided to leave it on overnight.... DO NOT DO THIS.... it ruined the polish on all my aluminum, where the paint was thin or chipped the paint around it came off... so now i was wondering how much i would be looking at to powder coat the frame... thanks... Larry's Shee Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Don't worry , most of us have had "Tim Allen" moments , the rest just won't admit it. A little is good , more must be great ,lol. From what I've seen , about $2-300 depending on color. Quote

250psd Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 I always had good luck with Purple Power. Heavily greasy areas do need some elbow grease. The PP will oxidize aluminum if you leave it on there too long. I used Easy Off to remove painted on pin stripes before. Quote
