wideopeninpa Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 whats the best way to clean my cases without a parts washer? I wish I had one but I dont. Quote
locogato11283 Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 i always use parts cleaner, a razor blade, some old rags and some compressed air. clean all the crap off the mating surfaces with the razor blade. use the parts cleaner to clean shit out of the crank and tranny areas. use air to clean it all up after. as for the outside of the cases a wire wheel or brush will take of a lot of shit. badassbanshee479 Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 degreaser and a power washer followed by a sand blaster..... Quote
Koolguyson Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Depends how bad they are. They make some pretty good engine degreasers that will take off light to moderate dirt. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Purple power and a brush will clean up the outside, Brake Kleen can take care of the inside. You can also pay a couple of bux at the do it yourself carwash & use their degreaser and power washer. Quote
