SAVAGE420 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Depends if your a fatty or not. It might be a little soft, but might be ok. I would try them and see what you think first! Quote

X2 If it sits low you can adjust the spring preload and see if that helps. Also, when I got my Works shocks they were very stiff and I was going to send them back to be resprung. I was told that they would just change the amount of nitrogen in them and that I should give them a chance to break in and see where the were after that, if I wanted them softer my local shop said they could bleed off some nitrogen. In your case you could find somebody local that does shock work and see if they will bump up the nitrogen. Quote
official_style Posted May 1, 2010 Author Report Posted May 1, 2010 Ya my shocks are set up for my weight 275lbs. The work perfectly with the stock arms. Guess I'm gonna have to send them out Quote
locogato11283 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 try them before you send them off. they might work better than you think. also, you may only need a little stiffer spring instead of the re-valving. Quote
SD1026 Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 I had my shocks redone by works also. When I got them they seemed high and stiff maxing out the ball joints but I rode on them any way and they did change after riding. So test them out break them in and go from there. Do you have rezzies on these shocks. Quote
