goumba Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 i need opinion, i bought my banshee used with the top end off. i over bored 1mm. new pistons and put back together. i dont know how it ran before but at top throttle for 3 - 4 seconds its screaming perfect, then it (i guess the word is) boggs. sounds like not enough fuel in the bowl to keep up with engine speed. fuel lines are clean and i adjusted the float levels to the max before overflow. i have after market carbs. only says pwk on them. i am guessing keihin pwk. also how to tell mm on them? why is it bogging? i am thinking it has to be rejeted but i have no carb info. help please---------- oh yeah i adjusted the mixture screw in is worse, out doesnt get any better. thanks Quote

I was just messing around and knew it needed to be rejetted. Sounds like you need bigger main jets to me. Quote
firebanshee Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Make sure the screens on the petcock in the tank aren't full of crap, and also make sure your fuel cap is venting good also. Quote
