Kingsley78 Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Can anyone help with an idea of my porting. Ive only messured the exhauste and the top of the port to the deck is 28mm and the bottom of the port to deck is 55mm. Ive got a feeling they are high as im not seeing a very high compression ratio. sleeper06 Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Trail port around 188-190deg depending on transf porting shouldnt affect compression that much,if your accurate and you use the same base gaskets I use Quote
Kingsley78 Posted March 30, 2010 Author Report Posted March 30, 2010 Ive made a gastket to suit my 4mm so that my pistons dont go beyond the deck. If i lower the bores with a thinner/standard gasket and run custom domes, how will that effect my port timing? Quote

Cheers Get a degree wheel so you can see what it actually is. Its the most accurate way to port imo. Quote
