Okay, I think I understand this post. You bought a set of white maier race cut front fenders, and you want to know whether or not you should sell them, and buy new shiny ones rather than refinishing the ones you have, correct? I personally think that if you CAN get 60 bucks for them, and it's only going to cost you 30 bucks to NOT have to do the work to refinish them, sell them and buy the new ones. Sanding plastics is very time consuming... and I HATE sanding... Quote

bbcmudtruck Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 Sanding and refinishing plastic is a total waste of time. I have tried on two different sets. I can't get it to work worth a shit. I haven't tried painting plastic yet, and really have no desire to try if it will just flake off. Quote
