IMO...they'll be better than the 17cc.

You might lose a little out of the hole due to less compression, but you can bump your timing 1-2 degrees to compensate for that.

It'll rev out further.

I personally like domes cut for alky...but you gotta run what you have.

ok, i have a set of 38mm pwks and it still needs to be more fat, and running 3.3s with those wickeds.

if u know anyone with a set of shearers or cpis just pm me or something.

theres a guy in my area that has played with compression (track test) and with 185psi he went 6.50's in 1/8mile and with 220-230pis he went 6.20's so id say what works for some maybe not work for others......

i hear people say all the time about running to much comp slows you down,but he made me a believer that thats just not true.

look at it like this

185 = 100hp at 9000rpms

230 = 120hp at 8500rpms

who you think will win...........not to mention the 230psi will come out the hole harder.

I'm not sure what your bike looks like, but you could also put it on a diet and drop some weight off it, replace the steering stem, axle, swingarm and all the oem stuff for starters. Also fittle around with air pressure in your tires. also I have seen a little gain in V-force reeds over boysen and shear out of frames over CPI on the dyno. 39 or 38's should help out. Do you have any pics? We might be able to help out better with some pics. JMO....

im running vf2 reeds, vf3 sucks balls. i have 37.5 pwks, cpi smallbores, lonestar drag axle, lonestar swinger. im using studded realtors with 72 icepicks in each tire, running 6 pounds of air in them, but my bike is what it should be running now.
