banshee 268 Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 hi im new here and i just got a 2003 banshee.i just went throught the whole bike.it didnt run that great so i cleaned the carbs and now im starting to think that wasnt the problem.it starts fine but doesnt like to idle and if i hold a steady throtle the right hand cyclender will start to skip.if i get above mid range it clears up and runs fine on the top end.the only thing done to the bike is fmf pipes and a air box lid.not sure where to go from here. bonerific250 Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 how much throttle are you giving it when it starts to stumble? less than 1/4 it might be your pilot won't take much to plug one up, did you try adjusting the mixture screw 2-1/2 turns out from "lightly" seated do this to both carbs, also might want to check your carbs are in sync.make sure your choke tube is on the between the 2 carbs.
