hi my name is james and i have cought banshee fever. heres the deal, just traded my 660 crappy for this banshee ( wonderful day) saturday, but its got like 4 coats of paint, the plastics look like crap and needs minor motor work. so i found a place to blast and powder coat my frame for 100.00, and i have a buddy that has a chrome shop and he said he would chrome the a-arms and swing arm for free so i nees opinions on chroming the swinger and arms what do you all think? any input is appreciated

do it and dont look back...if hes doin it for free you should do all the other crap on the bike also...steering stem, heel guards, foot pegs, axles bla bla...that would be one hell of a good lookin bike.

chrome the swingarm and a arms for sure

maybe rechrome the pipes, stator cover, etc

ok i tore down the bike and took the arms and the swing arm to work and put them in the blaster, did nothing for them. any idea on striping this stuff

sand blasting should take that rate out, what kinda sand do you have in there? play sand worked best for me its pretty corse, but than again where I work we blast CAT machines so it was a little over kill for my A-arms.

I used a tumbling shot blast cabinet not very effective ( ls indusries model 11b) but i resorted to paint stripper and a wire wheel. i hope to have at the chrome shop monday
