thats what i didnt like about k&n heavy, flop and they fall off. i guess a support system would be helpful thanks

i dont ride through water but i do ride in sand, i had k&ns but they where heavy and they floped and they would fall off

check yor jetting, tep, alt and filters and fuel will affect the jetting in big way and if your not sure on the jetting check with your local cycle shop they get you pretty close

well i currently gave my shee a make over and when i got to the air filters i removed the k&n pods and installed a toomey single, and when i started jetting i realized that it was restricting the air flow. so i'm lookin for input, what do you run or what sugestions. all input is appreciated heres my set up: .040 over wisecos stock stroke coolhead 20cc domes (for now) 155 psi port work stock carbs no tors dyno jet kit 4th clip 340mains sea level to 1000ft no air box stock cages dual stage reeds timing plate 4 degrees fmfs 91 octane

i ran a toomey 2-1 where the filter sets vertical, i welded a socket to the frame before powder coat. its perfect

dont waste your money, i bought a bottle of that stuff for my honda cr250 and hated it. its like it dont burn, its really messy the leaked out of every joint on my pipe and dripped

I used a tumbling shot blast cabinet not very effective ( ls indusries model 11b) but i resorted to paint stripper and a wire wheel. i hope to have at the chrome shop monday

ok i tore down the bike and took the arms and the swing arm to work and put them in the blaster, did nothing for them. any idea on striping this stuff

hi my name is james and i have cought banshee fever. heres the deal, just traded my 660 crappy for this banshee ( wonderful day) saturday, but its got like 4 coats of paint, the plastics look like crap and needs minor motor work. so i found a place to blast and powder coat my frame for 100.00, and i have a buddy that has a chrome shop and he said he would chrome the a-arms and swing arm for free so i nees opinions on chroming the swinger and arms what do you all think? any input is appreciated
