ok guys went to beach this weekend to ride my shee for first time. This thing was awesome pulled hard and was way faster then my old honda 450. but I felt that when I hit 5 and 6 it was not pulling as hard anymore. I was having to use the clutch to keep it going and it just was not pulling real hard. it is stock stroke 64.5 bore 35mm pwk's big ports boysen reeds. not sure on timing I think it's stock. tires were 22x11x10 extreme 10 paddle. sand was very compacted from rain. oh and the thed is milled. not sure what i can do to make it pull hard through all gears need help. oh and dual K&N filters no air box.

My goal is to next year build a 4mill stock cylinder bike would these carbs be to big then also what would be good carbs for my setup now

you may be over carbed, but it soounds like your jetting was off, which is highly likely at a beach...

Im with AKHEATHEN, your jetting could be off, not causing it to pull hard in the upper gears.... Also, depending on how much port

work you have, those carbs are just a bit, on the big side, especially in hard pulling sand..... Which can make it hard to keep it up in

the power band.... But, if your going 4mill, stock cylinder, those carbs would be perfect for that combinantion........imo

Your problem is you are running 22 inch tall ten paddles with 13/41 gearing. That will be a great setup with a 4 mil, but it is a lot fot the setup you have now. Either add 3 teeth to the rear or go to 20 inch tires with fewer paddles. You could go 1 tooth smaller in the front but that will be making the chain have to go around a sharper circle which causes it to wear faster.

Cool thanks for all the replies. I will try adding a bigger sproket in the rear. I'm not sure if my cylinders will work with a 4mill cause I don't wanna run a spacer plate. I wanna do it right. also not sure on port timing so it may be all out of wack. I'm not sure how to do port timing procedure.
