Bansh-eman Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 I need to get a tap to cleanup the threads in one of my peg bolt holes. Anyone know what the right tap size and pitch is for it? Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 i believe thats an M12 1.5 pitch.. Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 (edited) m10x1.25. i couldnt find a button head allen SS bolt in a 1.25 pitch so i re-tapped mine for a 1.5. Edited March 1, 2010 by volfan537240 Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 damn, M10 really? i was way off. i thought for sure it was bigger than that.. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted March 1, 2010 Author Report Posted March 1, 2010 Yea I thought it would be bigger than a M10 too. I will take it to Lowes tomorrow and use thier little handy dandy thread pitch thing they have in the hardware section. I got to order two taps from mcmaster so I want to make sure they are the right ones. Quote
THE358BANSH Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Yamaha factory manual says M10x1.25 pitch also. This handy dandy little chart is taken from the .PDF Banshee manual... Evan Quote
