Never had an issue with starting but now shee is misbehaving! Only thing I have done is changed the oil and spark plugs (NGK B8es), and a good old fashion wipe down! Now I go to take her out for a spin after work and she won't turn over. I have pulled the choked and still nothing! I kicked for over an hour! Sometimes she acts like she is going to fire up but she don't! After pulling the spark plugs they are wet with gas! I don't understand why there is so much gas in the cylinders! Any Ideas fella's?

1. Test stator readings with an Ohm meter. See Clymers manual for specs.

2. Test coil with an Ohm meter. See Clymers for specs. (this is unlikely, I have never seen a coil fail) Also check spark plug boot connections. This is a common fail area. Might be a good idea to replace them with some NGK boots for piece of mind.

3. Replace CDI

Most likely your stator or CDI has crapped out. Make sure to check your ground wire which is up by the CDI and Voltage regulator in the back.

Hope that helps. It has to be one of those three things.

I had a starting prob after washing my bike as well. Took the air gun to it for about 5mins and bamm. I think my cdi got wet some how. I have a ? For u. Do u still have the TORs on? I use to always have probs with the tors if my bike ever saw water. Removed and no more over rides. Best of luck

First, Thanx 87sheerips. I will go through the checks! Now I'm new to the Shee troubleshooting, What is the Tors?

tors is the throttle override system. the crap on top of your carbs (if you still have it on there)and if you do just get rid of it.

The first step[ to getting rid of it is unplugging the little black box under the left side of the gas tank, I believe it has 3 wires going to it in one connector. That will disable the system so it does not cause problems, then to clean things up, get a TORS eliminator kit. It will have new carb tops, a throttle cable, idle screws that need to be drilled and tapped into the side of your carbs, and if you choose, a twist throttle to replace the thumb throttle. But you can stay with the thumb throttle, you just need to decide before you buy the kit, so you get the right one. It definitely sounds like you have no spark, if that is the case, follow the steps provided by 87sheerips. Your plugs are wet because there is no fire to dry them out.

yep, I secodnd that. Unplug the little black box FIRST. That might just solve your problems in 2 seconds. Well maybe 15 seconds if the plug is a bitch lol

Ok I go into the garage to check on this black box y'all mentioned. 1 I didn't see any box (maybe I looked in the wrong spot) The only thing I saw was the box for the spark plug wires. 2 I kicked twice and she fired up out of nowhere I keep gasing her for about 2 minutes ( white smoke was coming out pretty thick) I tried to get her to idle but she cut right off, I kicked and one kick she back on! She died out again but this time I kicked more then David akers in the NFL LOL and she didn't do anything! Any more Ideas? Also I believe the compression is good cause when I kick I feel the kick shifter kick back! banghead:cry:

I would do a compression check, if your sure that it is white smoke and not thick blue smoke you could have a bad head gasket. I would test it just make sure.
