baker Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 so guys i just rebuilt the shee from the crank up, every thing was great for a few days, now sometimes it wont shift, with or without the clutch pulled in. it acts as if i have to have it at a certain rpm to shift it, the tranny looked nice when i was in the bottom end replacing the crank, all fluids are where they should be, its a brand new clutch also i have the arrows lined up on the clutch boss ans the pressure plate and the marks line up on the case and the peice the clutch cable hooks to. im stumped any help or ideas would be appreciated greatly, thanks in advance Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 Did you adjust the shift shaft so that it is centered on the adjuster bolt? Your shift shaft may not be pushing the shift drum pins far enough to pop it in gear. Quote

I just bought my girl a kfx 450r and i just wish i bought her a banshee instead. Them damn 4 strokes can be complicated compared to a banshee. No sensors no bullshit. Yet to mention how much heavier they can be, at least the KFX it weighs a bit more than a shee. Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 just take it easy. youll be fine. once its good to go, youre set. get the problem fixed and keep riding. theres nothing on this planet that doesnt need worked on every now and then. and if you think theres nothing to work on with a 4 stroke, youre dead wrong. theyre more complicated and expensive to work on.
