Drewski Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 i feel stipid asking but what are the adjustment srews on top of the carbs where the throtle cable goes?? Stock carbs with tors? Those would be your Idle screws. Quote
BigRed350x Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 It depends on your carbs. On stock carbs your idle screw are on the sides, not the tops. The screws on the tops of your carbs are used for syncing up your throttle position and taking up slack in the cables. If you don't have the idle screws installed on your carbs and are running the tors removal kit, then go buy the idle screws and adjust your idle the correct way. Quote

On the stock carbs that still have the TORS setup, the idle speed screws are on the top of the carb and the screws on the side of the carb are the idle AIR screw. When the TORS is removed, you drill and tap the side of the carb and install new idle speed screws there. Quote
