hyperpro Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 I have a Banshee with PCP pipes with a dura blue filter stock carbs with 320 mains and 27.5 pilots and it seems that the choke is not working on the right cylinder. The engine is very hard to start but when it dose start the right cylinder will kick in after a bit. Once it starts it works fine but just hard to start cold. Any ideas of what it could be Quote

Any ideas of what it could be first i would check and make sure the little rubber hose is in place between the choke tubes if that doesnt work screw the airscrews all the way in and see if that helps Quote

Screamin Banshee92 Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 I have a similar issue. Mine is hard to start had to use starting fluid last few times. Also the right side don't seem to fire correctly and it also pops or backfires alot in that side to. Any ideas please help. Also seems like plugs are faouled until it warms up. Quote
sheefreak Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 If the bowls have been flip floped the choke on the right side will not work. The one that goes on the left side carb is usually numbered 1-1 inside the bowl. The other will be numbered 1-2. Quote
Building my First Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 (edited) When did dura blue start making filters? Do you guys check spark plug gaps and the wire caps? Starting fluid should not be used on a 2 stroke. How is your copression? Edited February 7, 2010 by Building my First Quote

Starting fluid should not be used on a 2 stroke. How is your copression? My compression is 117psi on each side. I check the float bowls and they are on the proper side Quote
