patsbansh Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 i just purchased +2" up1" a-arms from full flight and am looking for a shock upgrade Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 ive got +2/+1 arms on my banshee and ive been running elka shocks for a long time now. i recommend them to anyone. they are pretty expensive when brand new. if you can find a used set in good condition for 5-600, i say jump on them. brand new will run you about 900 with rezzies. you could always go with a set of non-rezzies that will run you about 500 brand new. GrMeyer Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Really big fan of the Elkas. I have them on 4 quads and my rhino. But not a big fan of the arms. But hey are a great upgrade over stock. Just make sure you buy some blue loctight on the bolts that hold the hemi's on the spindles. Other then that. You will be happy with the upgrade. You can also us yfz 450 shocks if money is tight right now. You will also start to hear squeaking from the hemis. Just try to keep them clean as you can. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 If money isn't an option roll with a set of Elka piggy backs with compression and rebound adjustability. If you are tight on a budget, try a set of 450 shocks. They are cheap, have all the adjustment options and work pretty good on a set of +2 arms. Quote
