porting?

I strongly considering play porting my 03 shee, i was hoping you guys would steer me in the right direction as to who would be a good choice and reasonable price to do it. How much would it cost me, and how much power am i looking at gaining with few bolt on parts, toomey t5's vforce3 reeds boost bottle 280 main jet, k&n filter. what else can i bolt on for some serious scary fast power on the trails/ dunes.

Several of the site sponsors can port for you and do a great job. FAST racing Herrjuggs, Wildcard racing, they are just among a few that are highly regarded around here. There are also several non sponsors who have a good following. LC performance K&T, Nate Mccoy, A&S to name a fewI have motors from fast and herr and both run great. I would start making calls and see who you like. Ask questions like price turn around etc. You stand to gain alot depending on the type of port you end up doing. A competent porter is going to ask you what type of riding you do, your weight, what type of fuel you wish to run etc. They do this to make sure they port it correctly for the way you want it to perform. If you call somebody who does not ask you those questions, i would hang up and make another call.

Porting your bike will be night and day difference in power. You will need to call a few builders and talk to them about pricing.

I just sent my 03 cylinders to Kevin at Herr Jugs Racing to do a Hardcore MX porting job and a top end rebuild. I will add a Chariot Cool Head and some 28mm carbs. I'm expecting arm ripping power once I get it back together.

I have a FAST Dune Ported 4 mill. It is an awesome motor.
