nitrious cub Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 hi i have a 421 cub and blew it up a couple years ago and it has a pretty bad chip in it where can i get a good deal on a nikel seal? is 300$ to much? when i get it done do also have to get the pistons at the same time? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 300 dosnt sound too bad. Most motor builders can get it done for less than you can going directly to the place. Quote

RadarRacing Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Millennium does probably 80% of peoples cyls. You are somewhat better off sending them a piston with the cyl so they bore it perfect for you to match the clearance with that exact piston. Pistons can vary slightly. I think its about 250 to 300. FASTOYS Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 We can send them in for you and it usually runs around $300-350 range depending on whether it needs welded up or not. We send in a piston with them and have them set up to OUR specs/tolerance. Quote
rubberneck Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Jeff My cub that i blew up doesnt appear to have dinged the nikasil, but there is some aluminum piston chunks melted to the cylinder. what can i use to get it off? I supposed the nikasil could be damaged underneath that, but i wont know till i get it off. Any ideas? Quote
00sheerzr Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 i have used millenuim technology for my ktm sx200 a few yrs ago and it was a good deal and also my dad has a dealer license so we got hooked up, i also double checked all the clearences for the pistom just out of curiousity and everything was perfect i would highly recomend them turnaround time was about 10 days Quote

Impossible to say. You just have to send it to them. They will treat you right. I would recommend Millenium first, www.mt-llc.com US Chrome second, www.usnicom.com Quote
