KaosBanshee44 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Found this on my local town advertising page. For the damage it has and seeing how cheap you can replace everything with and rebuild it could be a nice little scoop up. That is ofcourse you have extra parts laying around the garage. From the sound of it i wouldn't be surprised if the crank has a little damage as well. http://www.southeasttexas.com/classifieds/detail.cfm?id=523184&classified_code=999&zipcode=&distance=0&type=general Quote
madjimmax Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 My first question is if his brother blew it up how the hell did someone steal it? What they do push it down the road? I personally think that the person that stole it fucked it up and this dude dont even really know whats wrong with it. I wouldn't give him no more then $750 for it. And why does everybody thats trying to sell a banshee advertise it as a race bike? I dont get it Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted December 23, 2009 Author Report Posted December 23, 2009 I agree everyone i have seen is either it's to fast or race ready haha Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 if i could rebuild my whole top end with new cylinders/pistons/rings/ and gaskets for 270 i would just buy new cylinders every time i blow it up. It costs me around 350 for a top end rebuild and im getting the parts cheaper than retail. I bet that bike is all sorts of fd up. id give him 800 for it. Quote
35thLS1SS19 Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 i bought my 2002 for 1300, running great and all stock! there are better deals out there for sure Quote
zachmw Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 I paid $1000 for my 93. Have about 1400 into it and its "race ready". My son out grew his blaster and wants a banshee and I cant seem to find another deal like that. Even put the blaster (03) on CL to trade and add cash. Had a few emails from people wanting it plus $3000 for thier Shee. Quote
LiftdT4R Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 I would stay away from it if you were planning on fixing it to ride, sounds a little sketchy, and NOBODY ever tells you everything thats wrong with a bike, either because they dont know or dont want to. But, if yuo were going to part it out, theres a couple bucks to be made there. Quote
