Sorry guys i might sound noob... but i didnt have cool head before on my banshee.. i bought this banshee with this... pistons size 50

there's something wrong i need to fix the banshee , what u guys think and do i need to ressembly it? oring kit? what about the head gaskit? i didnt found any head gaskit on the banshee! dont know if the cool head didnt use headgaskit...

what else i do need to check?

do a plug chop to check the jetting. warm it up on old ones an them through in new ons an keep it wot through all gears then take them out ride back to the truck or house on old plugs taking it easy. then jet accordingly.. but yes put all new gaskets on the intake an new orings on the cool head. alf44 on here has them cheap.

yep, those domes are a mess. You may find a # etched on the other sides of them. You only use o-rings on the head. You'll need a new kit.How do the plugs look?and what is the compression?

thank you guys for replaying ...

do u guys clean head parts with premix gas? is it safe?

about the domes what size those are? my compression was 125psi on both sides

i think im going to split the case to get into the crank area, need to check the crank...

im glad my cylinders is not ported, maybe im going to the stock head, speed arent my goal...

man, you need to flush that cooling system !!!!

you could give the cylinders a bit of a clean up, theres quite a bit of sleeve showing through the ports, the sleeve even looks twisted ?

you dont have to use premix, normal gas is fine but a bit ovekill, id just use degreaser and make shaw the dome side of it is spotless.

if the domes dont have numbers on them, get a syringe with cc/ml on the side and insert a spark plug into the dome and use the syringe to squirt fluid into the dome (counting how many cc's go in) you need something flat with a hole in it so you can put it over the dome and squirt through the hole into the dome. you could even use the clear cd that comes on top of the cdrw stacks.

that's pretty nasty....i bet it ran pretty hot. what do the pistons look like? missing a reed screw? and, yah, it liiks like a bad re-sleeve jobber...

i found it on side of domes they're 22 cc domes ...

so a stock motor with only coolhead with 22cc domes and 125psi compression on both sides is it ok?

pistons look good cause the bike was running good...

now what i will do is:

new oring set / new cylinders gaskit / new domes dunno what size to go for, i dont race alot i do wheelie alot.. so what size do u recommend?

and what else do i need to check i'm gonna split the cases and check whats going on and where is the noise is coming from, the crank arms looks good ..

I would be more concerned about those gouges in the dome, was the piston making contact and thats the noise you were hearing? I would definately split the bottom to see whats going on in there.

i splited the case today everything look good, gears are good crank is good too ...

i noticed something today, the guy that jetted my banshee he forgot to put the airbox cap he leaved the airbox without the top cap...!!!

well now.......that IS the noise you heard......the flywheel shit itself and was beating on your pickup. the stator is most likely perfectly fin, in fact, i have seen way worse run....but you need an new pickup-(that little black box on the stator)
