00tbanshee Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 i have always been a big fan of the shearers.seen alot of big bikes, counting a twister that had a set of cpi's on it, at the local track, that ran damn good.as for kevins dune motor,if he set the port up for the shearer pipe then i'd stay with them.i know kev is a hug fan of the shearers. gregrob Posted November 6, 2009 Author Report Posted November 6, 2009 The ports on my HJR engine are actually set up for T-5's and gas ROFL! I put it on Shearers and meth almost immediately after getting it. I did swap the domes though, and let me tell this things RRIIIPPPSSS. Faster than my old FAST drag port by far. Sending it back this winter to get it freshened up and a little more top-secret porting done he he he. It's still got a lot to get out of it while still being a dune port. Looks like I'll be sticking with Shearers for the twister and try to round up some bigger carbs for it. Quote
