jbooker82 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 Any time you buy 5 gallons of race fuel in the metal 5 gallon cans your getting ripped off big time. Your paying for that metal can. You can save big $$$ buying it by the drum. The first time you buy a drum you will have to pay an extra 40 dollars or so for a deposit on the drum. Then you just trade your empty drum for a full one. I get 55 gallons of Turbo Blue (made by sunoco) for 325 or so. That is not figuring in the drum. VP fuel is also very pricy you can save some cash by running other fuels. http://www.turboblue.com http://sunocoinc.com/site/Consumer/RaceFuels/ Go to the local drag strip, or circle track and see where people get there fuel. rubberneck Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 I have 19cc domes as well, .018 base gasket if i remember correctly,(ill have to check reciept when i get home). .046 squish, Sea level-200ft and timing is at +7, thats where Jeff set it at and said that he wanted it, im running straight VP c12 in it @ 32:1.......... I checked compression on a cold never started motor and it was 150psi.....guage may be boogered? about right?, its a Oreillie's guage but its a nice one.... i dont know, I have a issue going on right now that i need to get in touch with Jeff about, more on that soon........ Cool, i bet its gonna haul ass, i just got back from a week in the dunes with a 350 that jeff ported for me and it is a great motor. I think somebody forgot to tell it is just a little 350 cause it runs hard. Im putting my 4mil together now that he ported for me, play ported for T5s, and a fat pilot. LOL cant wait to run it cause the 350 is just so damn much fun. Guaranteed your guage is wrong, cause the 350 i just put together kicks 180psi with 19cc domes on my snap on guage which has been tested accurate, so the 4mil should be even more. However more radicall port timing could bring it back down, but not to 150 Quote

Ieat4strokes Posted October 27, 2009 Author Report Posted October 27, 2009 Yea that's what I figured that why I made sure to add tht it was on a cold never started motor. I should be in that same neighborhood, I got a drag port so it may be a tad lower Quote
