killed300ex Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Thinking about buying the dyna tek FS Ignition for my 97 drag banshee (4 mil stroker LA Sleeve Top end fresh pistons sleeves ect drag ported 4 spd override 36mm PWK carbs CPI out of frame drag pipes) Bike is set up for 1/8 mile asphalt and 300' sand drags (Change gearing tires and wheely bar setup) Was hoping to get alittle more out of it with this ingnition and some of its functions anyone use the launch limiter?? And the rpm activated outputs? Also most say it takes dyno tuning the take full potential thats not an issue local cycle shop has a dyno I can tune with is tuning with their software fairly straight forward? Does it replace the original CDI?? Hoping it does and I could use cdi from that bike on my yfz/ banshee hybrid Thanks Evan Quote

I have used the launch limiter function. I broke my reeds with it; but it worked like it should. Quote

Think I am going to grab on this winter and see what I can do with it. Quote
Snopczynski Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 The launch limiter crawled out of his cdi box with a little hammer and slipped into the intake, then it was on like mario bros with the reeds and the little hammer. Quote
