Looking to sell my 97 banshee motor is fresh 200 lbs of compression last time I checked. Barley been used since the rebuild, new 4 mill long rod stroker crank, LA sleeve BB top end on a stock bore. delta v force reeds pwk 38mm carbs. Lockup clutch and side cover. Has a 4 speed override in it with new shift forks on rebuild been run about 1/2 hour since. Would be willing to pull the motor and swap in a regular trans for no cost if youd rather that. All motor work has been done at a local reputable builder (LD&R machine in North Berwick ME) You are more than welcome to call and talk to him and he will confirm and can tell in detail what has been done to the motor. It runs very strong for a LA sleeve motor. This was one of his personal drag motors for a couple years before I got it so you know it was built right. I am including 2 sets of asphalt tires one on carbon fiber rims. (One is a hard compound one a soft) Also a set of maxis 4 snows that I used for pit riding and the sand drags. Comes with a wheelie bar. Is lowered so the frame sits 4" off the ground. I do have all the factory suspension that will go with the bike and I am willing to install if thats what you want it setup for. It has out of frame drag pipes on it. This bike has everything needed to be a decent drag bike or trail bike with the parts I am including all it would need is a set of inframe pipes for trail riding. Looking for 2500 OBO Located in Rochester NH Best way to contact me is at my email [email protected] as I can get it right on my phone

I am building a yfz with a banshee motor currently. Its all built and waiting for the machine work on the motor so I can rebuild it and take it for a test run before I tear down for paint. Looking for recommendations on were to even start with jetting I am at 100ft above sea level and its running about 25-30 degrees out. Motor is going to be a 4mil stroker with the last bore on the stock sleeves Beleive its 66 bore?? Weisco pistons running a trinity stage 4 2 into 1 intake with a 38mm pwk carb thats been bored to 39.5mm. Running a dynoport 2 into1 exhaust as well. Not looking for thought on the pipe choice it was easy to make work and I am building a low end torque motor. Has minimal porting mainly case matching and just a quick port to clean it up as the cyls were on the last bore already and ill be adding an after market top end next year. Wondering if you guys had any input as to were to even start with jetting.

2004 yamaha yfz 450 motor. Comes complete with all wiring to run engine also complete oil system, also has an aftermarket exhaust. Only thing not included is the radiator. Motor has about 10 ( at most) hours on it since the rebuild. Was rebuilt from the crank up. Oem crank/ connecting rods wiesco piston and rings. New oem cyl jug, had the oil mod done while it was apart. Head was completly gone thru ( new valves and seats springs ect. Built to be a very reliable motor just lost intrest. Would make a great gokart motor or spare motor to have as a spare. Was going to put in a golf cart but have to many other projects and am trying to clean up the garage. Open to trades banshee parts equipment trailers or an older dodge diesel. Will get pictures this weekend. Any questions just ask. Location: Rochester nh can ship if buyer pays best way to contact me is thru email @ [email protected] asking 2000 obo ( try me worst I can say is no)

Yes the ignition inturupt will not be run in the sand (hopin to be able to run a switch on it) It will be run on asphalt so I can get into 5th and 6th. Ill gear 300 feet to be done in the overriden gears (1-4) Also iv been told the ignition interrupt isnt enough in the sand running paddles as it wont kill the engine long enough to unload the paddles but thats only what iv heard no experiance

Ill let you how it works just trying to make it as consistant as possible. Weights not an issue bikes already carting my 250 pounds down the track

Wondering if any of you had run an air shifter on your banshee? Thinking about installing one over the winter to go on my 97 drag bike. Run both asphalt 1/8 mi and 300' sand drags. Was thinking about triggering it thru a dyna tek FS ignitions off one of the RPM activated triggers. Thoughts on how this would work or suggestions. If you have done it pictures of how you mounted it would be great. Thinking of using this air shifter kit http://www.cycle-tek.com/html/Other%20Bikes.htm

How did it break your reeds? Not looking to use it if its going to hurt the bike just to make the bike deadly consistant off the line. Think I am going to grab on this winter and see what I can do with it.

Thinking about buying the dyna tek FS Ignition for my 97 drag banshee (4 mil stroker LA Sleeve Top end fresh pistons sleeves ect drag ported 4 spd override 36mm PWK carbs CPI out of frame drag pipes) Bike is set up for 1/8 mile asphalt and 300' sand drags (Change gearing tires and wheely bar setup) Was hoping to get alittle more out of it with this ingnition and some of its functions anyone use the launch limiter?? And the rpm activated outputs? Also most say it takes dyno tuning the take full potential thats not an issue local cycle shop has a dyno I can tune with is tuning with their software fairly straight forward? Does it replace the original CDI?? Hoping it does and I could use cdi from that bike on my yfz/ banshee hybrid Thanks Evan
