98 banshee for $800.00

not mine saw it on craigslist chicago

went and looked at it, from what i see it needs swingarm pivot bolt bearings, upper arms are loose, no back brake, wouldn't fire but had spark. compression seemed low but didn't have a tester on me.

yeah it was a bit dirty, as well as compression seemed low but i didn't do a compression test. i figured for $800 don't seem to bad.

yeah, lady said if it wasn't listed anymore it was sold. she had alot of calls when i was there looking @ it. bike was only a few minutes from me and only posted for a couple of hours.

Got an email from them today. Bike sold in 3 hours. No title though if I remember right.I would have bought it and picked up a different frame. Saw another one nearby for $950 I think. No title either.

yeah i thought about picking it up just have to many things going @ once. i didn't think the price was to bad. said they were going to try to come up with some paperwork. they were the second owner, original was a friend or family member who bought from the local yamaha shop in town. thought they might still have something on file in the system. yeah i saw that other one north of me on there as well, looks like it has a little aftermarket.
