coronakidd Posted October 1, 2009 Author Report Posted October 1, 2009 not indecisive just stateing im going to run 2 into one carb on my stock cyl.when i get my cubs i was going to put 2 carbs back on it which will be around the first of the year . I havent seen or heard much about the P.T.s just wondering how they would do if they are not a good pipe or are equal to FMFs,dgs, pro circuits. I would just buy them for my 4 mill cub which would be shearers.Would the shearers do good on a stock cyl unported banshee iknow they work good on a built bike but i dont know about a stock one just asking for everyones input which i appriciate If i could afford to do it all at once i would. But as im maintaining 4 atvs i cannot Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 i dont know about the shearers but i do know the cpis dont show there potential on a stock bike, they run ok but you wont notice as much of a difference as you would with some t5's, fatty's, pts, dmc's, etc. I imagine the shearers would be even worse. You have to remeber what these pipes are made for and its not for stock bikes that are puttin around the trails, its for all out balls to the wall drag racing! Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 (edited) all i have to say about the paul turner mids is my girlfreind has a set that she has for sale now, but when i rode it i had never felt a shee that pulled so hard on the bottom end and just kept on pullin. I could not keep the front end down!!!! Now im not sayin im goin to run out and buy them but they do pull friggin hard like crazy!! Also they sound amazing with the fatboy 2's! Sammy Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 If your looking for a solid trail pipe the PT high rev will work fine on your stock cylinder build and will probably still serve you well on the sub 400cc cub. If your looking for an optimal trail pipe than look no further than the Pro Circuit Platinums. I personaly have used PT mids on a trail stock bore stock stroke setup and they seemed to really fall off after the midrange. Quote
coronakidd Posted October 1, 2009 Author Report Posted October 1, 2009 (edited) I found a set of Pt highs for a good deal ill put them on and see how they do if i dont like them ill sale them and buy something else everyone that has run a set talks good about them. So i know they will not be worse than whats on there which is FMF gnarleys Edited October 1, 2009 by coronakidd Quote
