skribe Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 i just bought my first banshee iwent to take it out and it ran like shit it kept dying on me it felt like it had no power and from the exaust only one side was fireing and i can confirm that because the muffler that wasn't firing was cold after riding for 15 to 20 minutes any ideas? locogato11283 Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 banshee only needs 3 things to run.. spark, air and fuel.. check air filters. make sure theyre clean. check the spark. pull a plug out, put it in the spark plug boot and ground it on your cylinder. kick it over and see if its sparking good. check to make sure youre getting gas. pull the gas lines off the carbs and make sure its flowing well. if so, you may need to pull the carbs off and make sure the jets are no plugged. you will have to pull the bowls off to do this. Fullthrottle02 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Like loco said check spark and check fuel, then I would check compression. If its not running right, there's a reason and continuing to ride it for 15-20 minutes when there's a problem usually causes bigger problems. Quote
