SonOfSand Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 More rpms = more wheel speed. Ok, so if you have two engines making the same peak HP, but one does it at 9000 rpm, and the other does it at 8000, the 9k engine will be faster? I thought the engine making peak HP the soonest would have the advantage. What you are saying makes sense, the wheels would turn faster. Thanks. Do you think the cpi's will help my setup? Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 I'm basically running the exact same motor as you are except my port work was done by Jeff. I have never had a set of cpis, so I can't tell you from experience. I did however switch from T5s to Rockets and absolutely love them. I think the Rockets and CPIs are comparible. Quote
sinisterboo Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 I have never run rockets or shearers, but i do own a set of cpi's for all my shee's. Best money ever spent, beside that stripper that one nite, but thats a whole nother thread.... Quote
sheeban Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 I had t6s on my cub for a little bit and they came on quick and that was about it. Got Sheares now the diffrence is amazing but can say they are for sure a top end pipe but thats what a cub is all about. Quote
