dunner250 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Just picked up a banshee as a project bike. I pulled the head and this is what it looked like. There is pitting on one side of the head. The piston looks like it was just a rough casting because of the uniform pattern. just wanted to know what causes this? jbooker82 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 I would say it looks like it is from a previous melt down. If your worried about it then you can always look for a nother head on here or ebay. Might as well shoot for a milled one and up the compression a little. Quote
