So how was the turn out and racing?

I didn't ask about the cost or the better rider.

I have heard two different stories and I'm wondering which one is true. You take 2 bikes... say a raptor and a banshee for example. (One being a four stroke and the other being a two stroke of course). Lets say they both make 100hp on the dyno. Then you take them to the sand and drag race them, both have equal riders and are correctly set up. I have been told that 2 strokes make power differently and you need a little more hp on a 2 stroke to be faster. Then I have been told hp is hp. So who wins?

My 4mil with stock carbs, fmf, ported stock cylinder made 71. Don't know but I would think 100+ easy

I have 2 trx's as well my banshee, and was thinkin that I had too many bikes as well... so I sold my wife's bike.. lol

Prior to this I had a reed that was chip, but it was replaced. It failed shortly after that.

one more piece of the puzzle is that I went from fmf's to cpi. should I start by turning them in?

Total rookie move... I had the slide on the wrong side. there went most of the day wasted on something stupid. Now both seem to run fine but now it will not idle.

OK so I did a leak down test, found a small leak between the reed and cylinder. Sealed it up and still have the the same problem. I have cleaned the carbs about a dozen times now and can't find any more leaks. Help I'm leaving for the dunes next weekend and am running out of time. Here is a video... Thanks

I put a new top end in my 4 mil shee. I went to start it up and was unable to. I then bump started it and after that It started up first or second kick without a problem. I was letting it warm up and saw that the right side seemed to be missing. If I gave it some gas the left cyclinder would start firing. After letting it run for close to a minute I noticed water was coming out of the over flow tube off the radiator. Now I filled up the radiator to the very top, so should there be some leaking out due to the water expanding or do I have a o ring issue? Also it has a cool head. I didn't have time to trouble shoot but what should I look at next before I pulled apart the top end.. I was thinking checking plugs and spark, swapping spark plugs/wires, compession test, anything else before dive into the top end?

I have a trx450r and a banshee. I think its 67,65. I'll have to check. Your staying for weeks, whats one more day. lol

I'll be at horsfall 21th to the 25th. Just made reservations today. Thinking the 19 to 21 I'll be at sandlakes, not sure yet. Banhsee4231 do you have any not so fast, fast bikes. Like the ones were you don't mix oil in the gas?

Thanks I found a spot. There are about 6 in coos bay. A couple have direct access, and some roads leading to the sand. Of course they were all booked. Anyway there is a another RV rental company in Reedssport that we have rented before. Good people plus they gave us a deal on renting a utv. Also this way is cheaper
