PACIFIC NW BANSHEE Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 Me again dont use steel wool on your silencers steel wool will help take off any baked on stuck burned on crap. For the silencer go buy some wheel polish . good luck Quote
quaddad817 Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 just wondering if anybody knows how to clean toomey pipes and silencers thanks clean your pipes with brake cleaner then pollish them with brasso! as far as ur silencers sand them with 200-320-400-600 then pollish with mothers! tip the more time you spend sanding the better they will turn out Quote
01strokedshee Posted September 19, 2009 Author Report Posted September 19, 2009 thanks guys i appreciate it Quote
jbooker82 Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Do the final wipe down with acetone. It will remove all finger prints, oils, and polish that is left over. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 The fine 000 won't scratch you pipes at all. I use it on mine all the time. Quote
