ramnation Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I just bought another banshee, its a 98. it needed a new top end. I got a stock top end for it and put it back together. It ran alright for a short period of time. it idles high and it seemed the carbs stuck open after a WOT run but it would idle back down. Now it sounds like its missing, really loud pinging and popping out of the left cylinder. LOTS of smoke out of that cylinder. Anyone have any advice would help. Thanks in advanced.oh btw it has fmf pipes and reeds but is jetted for them already. Quote

My brother switched the plugs and it made the other side (right side) misfire. put in a new plug and it works great but it still has a slight loss of power and still smokes like crazy out of the left side. Did you do a leakdown test after doing the top end? Did you sync the carbs? What are your mods? What mains are you using? Quote
