Ok its fine now. Found a loose boot and the part on top of the left carb was loose. thanks

ok quick update. My brother switched the plugs and it made the other side (right side) misfire. put in a new plug and it works great but it still has a slight loss of power and still smokes like crazy out of the left side.

I just bought another banshee, its a 98. it needed a new top end. I got a stock top end for it and put it back together. It ran alright for a short period of time. it idles high and it seemed the carbs stuck open after a WOT run but it would idle back down. Now it sounds like its missing, really loud pinging and popping out of the left cylinder. LOTS of smoke out of that cylinder. Anyone have any advice would help. Thanks in advanced.oh btw it has fmf pipes and reeds but is jetted for them already.

ok i'll try to disconnect the tors. if that doesnt cure it what should i try next?

ok, could it be anything else? i.e. fuel mixture? Ive been running on what the guy had before me in it today and it sat for a little while.

Hey everyone i finally left my four stroke behind for a banshee today. its an 02 with some work done to it. its been bored over, has fmf pipes blah blah. Its been running great all day and i let it sit for maybe an hour or so to change the rear brake shoes and now it will start and idle but it wont rev up. it just bogs down, i swapped plugs for new ones and it didnt help. i noticed the spark plugs were a gooey blackish color on the ends. any suggestions? thank in advance ramnation
