I dont see how cooling can effect hp, especially by 7-8 hp. The words Reverse cooling don't even make any sense to me.

Maybe loboboy can chime in here, Stallworth does some crazy stuff. I guess all the new yzf yamaha's cool this way now. I hope someone has more info than i?

Reverse cooling simply means the cold water goes to the head first. Its been used in the automotive world for a while now. No idea if it is being used in the atv world.

arctic cat did a reverse cooling system on the 03 and up firecat f5, f6, f7 sleds the whole reason for the reverse cooling was to be able to allow for more advanced ignition timming without detonating, its a real good system but the firecats are a pain in the arse to bleed the air out of when filling up the cooling system

If I'm not mistaken that's the purpose of a cool head it changes the direction of the water flow. Besides they also let you change dome size which can increase or decrease compression ratio. Maybe someone else will chime in also.

Yea the main purpose of a cool head is to change the compression ratio, and the ease of machining domes on a lathe vs machining / rechambering a stock head. Cool Heads dont really do much for cooling. Most of the coolant is just circulated and makes its way across the head.

I dont see how it would bennifit a banshee to have the coolant flow from the front of the head to the back of the head.

Here is a little more info, There is another hose routing on lf side into the rear or the cylinder. He must make another cooling port.
