speciald215
I have a 4 mil crank bored .35 over with a pretty aggressive port and i will be getting the head shaved by 0.020, running T5s. I am running stock carbs, do i need to bump them up or can i make the stockers handle the upgrades? Thanks. 87sheerips
Ditch those stock carbs!! They are junk, and will cause you frustration. Go get some 33PWK's, or 35PWK's and be done with it. I have a stock stroke, dune ported motor with 35 PWKs and CPIs. It is a great combo for me, and in no way overkill. Runs great. You may want to try a CPI pipe and some bigger carbs... Hold on! bbcmudtruck
I'm running a dune ported 4mil with t5s and 35pwks and get along good with them. I would like to try a set of 33s to see if that would help with a little more bottom end though.
speciald215
What about a 2:1 carb setup? Or are they not a good thing for a duner.
Havok248
What about a 2:1 carb setup? Or are they not a good thing for a duner. 2:1 setups are more for trying to build a trail bike because you'll gain on the low end and lose up top, i wouldn't suggest it for a dune setup
