What do you think... it won't stop reving out. I can't get it to come down unless I pull the choke out.

 

The idle screws and air screws have no noticable effect.

 

 

What do you think? (and yes s420 I know I need to axe my tors still)

you have a bad air leak, not that there ever was a good air leak, LOL

 

where is that normally the case? at the boot or in the carb? Or the pipe, It looks like one of my pipes is spitting black gas at the cylinder.

choke tube come off?

tube is still there.. I'm thinking to add a clip there to be sure it's tight

make sure your intake boots arent cracked, reed gaskets not leaking, base gaskets not leaking. if all that seems good, the pull the stator cover off, start the bike, and then spray some carb cleaner towards the crank seal, if it changes your idle spraying the carb cleaner around the seals and gaskets, then you've found your leak. Or find an HQ member near you with a leakdown tester, or search "leakdown tester" on here for instructions on how to make one. Very nice tool to have.

LOL... if you know of anything else besides axe dem tors, then please jump in. I'll be ordering the tors kit tomorrow.

 

did you get water in there?

 

No water, maybe too much carb cleaner
