LIM_Whiteboy4life Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 come on guys whats the best pipe ineed to know before i buy Ok before the OG's chew your ass out, there has been 3-5 treads in the past few weeks about this, it depends on riding you do, and when/where/how the power comes in... try the search feature its great.... firebanshee Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 I think t-5s are the best all round pipe. They work good on ported and non ported motors and they have alot of potential. They don't have much on the bottom but pull hard mid through top.If you want bottom end power buy a 4 stroke  Quote
kr0nic Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 FMF Fattys - great all around pipe (great for trails, dunes, mx) CPI inframes - I run mine in the woods, mx tracks, and of course the dunes, just don't expect to be pulling stumps in the bottom end T5s - good mid to top pipe for stock to mod motors These pipes have been around for along time and theres a reason there still very popular. IMO the other's try but fall behind, stay away from DMC, trinity, pro circuit, ect. Quote
RippinShee Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 I have a nice set of chrome Toomey T-5'S in the FS section Quote

And I personally strongly disagree with you about the pro circuits I will take some pro circuits over ANY fmf any day of the week. I've ran both fmf fatties and pro circuits on my 373 4 mil stroker and the pro circuits where night and day on power. compared to the fmf's. Pro circuits are a great all around pipe and snop would agree with me if he chooses to chime in on this post. Hes done loads of work on pipes and dyno's. Quote
kodie Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 macracer...it depends on what kind of riding you will be doing as to what pipe you will run. you trail riding or dragging or strickly dunes? they make pipes for every kind of power range so need to know what kind of riding your doing. Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 (edited) i disagree with the t5 mid to top pull my buddy just put them on his stock banshee and it is all top end. i run the fmf sst and they pull way harder from the mid. im not saying there a bad pipe cuz i like them but from what ive noticed it is all top end. I also disagree with the stay away from the pro circuit pipes. my buddies father has them on his shee and it screams definatly a nice all around pipe and they sound good. Snopczynski Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 come on guys whats the best pipe ineed to know before i buy You gonna tell us whats done to the bike, and what type of riding you do? Quote
RippinShee Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 T-5's are a mid to top pipe. period. CPI'S or Shearer's are all top end pipe. Quote
Snopczynski Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 I tend to think the cpi is a mid-top pipe, and a way better one than the T5's at that. Quote
