toolucky Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Has anyone tried these? From the pics on cascades website they look like they really open up the VF3s. Let me know if any of you have used these and if so what differences were noticed. Quote
shanYE west Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 I've used them. The reason they're used is to help with some turbulance issues associated with the factory round style stuffer when used with aftermarket intakes that have square openings. You want the intake tract to flow flow as smoothly has possible. So the cascade stuffers allow people with certain intakes to match up the intakes without porting the factory stuffers. Quote
00tbanshee Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 i ran them and to tell you how big of a difference, i can't say,but i'd say they are worth the money if you are running 39mm or larger carbs Quote
shanYE west Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 I've used both on my 39's.. but I switched intakes also.. My white knuckle intakes matched up perfect to the factory round stuffers.. So I sold my cascades with my Boss intakes. Quote
ToomeySheeLE Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Do you need to run the stuffers at all? Quote
dajogejr Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Yes. Without them...nothing holds the VForce 3 in place. I agree with fouled out...if you have larger square holes in your intake, get the cascade stuffers. If you have smaller, stockish holes for your intake...there's not much point. Quote
