Ieat4strokes Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Almost got my 4 mill together, how can i tighten the clutch basket nut to 66 ft lbs like manual says without the inner hub spinning? i tried a impact but im sure its still not enough because of the inner hub spinning.... Quote
sleeper06 Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 I have a strap wrench that works,or I used to stuff a rag between the basket and inner hub and stratigically place a screwdriver Quote
mazuullaa Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 If you have an old clutch grab two fibres and three steels. Align them up and drill three 1/4 holes through them and bolt them together now the clutch hub and basket will move together as if the clutch is engaged. So now all you have to do is the rag or penny trick to the gears. Quote

I also bought the engine lock tool from rocky mountain. Its plastic and goes in were the spark plug is and holds the engine. Love it. Quote
