If I were to buy the fmf power core2 silencers do i have to buy the carbs with it? Or can I just buy the silencers? I know it's kind of dumb not to buy the carbs but i cant really afford that right now... Quote
black sunshine Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 Are you getting the head pipes/expansion chambers as well? You do not have to buy carbs, you will have to change your jetting if you currently have stock pipes. Quote

black sunshine Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 IDK if just the silencers will change anything dramatically, I'll let someone else chime in. Learn to do a plugchop to dial in your main jets. Look up FASTOYS, he has the link in his signature. If you have not yet purchased the silencers, I'd hold off. Scrounge around on here; there are alot of good deals on used pipes/silencers, as well a a new air filter setup to let that baby breathe! Quote

jbooker82 Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 Changing the silencers wont do much for you. I dont know if they will even match up to the stock expansion chambers. You need to buy it as a set. Look for some used FMF's Pro Circuits, DMC's, or Toomey's. Quote
