yfz&shee Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 What do you all run for heel gaurds? i cant find any full race peg or nerf that fits the banshee other than the ac blacklines and if i put them on im afraid my fenders will flop and i dont really want to cut them any ideas of what you all use? i have pro armor fat pegs on my yfz motocross set up like them ok but pro armor doesnt seem to like the banshee Quote
R. Rollins Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 Run your stockers. Hell all that race billit crap doesnt make them run any faster. Put your money into go fasty stuff like engine upgrades that will give her a little more power. just my two cents worth of advise.... Quote
rtcc Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 footpegs and heelgaurds are about safety when racing or trail riding. I dont think he is talking about a drag bike here. And no, unfortunately there is very little options for us. You can run the stockers, which are ugly and suck all around or the heelgaurd nerfs. If you are worried about your rear fenders I made my own fender supports like the ones alba sells VERY easily with some flat metal I bought at home depot. My rear fenders dont droop or bounce around anymore. Quote
LiftdT4R Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 I vote for the stockers too. It's the only heel guard Ive found that I liked, even if they don't look so good. I bought a pair of ACs and I hated them. I wear a size 10, and it was a bitch to shift with the nets, even at their loosest. I'd really like to find a pair of IMS heel guards, but they havent been made in a while. They are pretty sick looking. Quote
kawa110 Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 ya im on the hunt also. the moment i see the ims for sale used somewere im on em. But i did find some universal blingstar heel guards, i dont know if they will work. but i found em througn the shopping link on the google page. http://www.google.com/products?q=universal...=en&show=dd Quote
