Piston..

ive got a 4mil banshee cracked a piston.. i was just wondering what the best piston for me to use would be and what compression i should use.. i do trail riding and some drag..

I need to ask,what the heck made the piston crack?

i was told it was from running high octane with not enough oil mixed in

I would have to say not enought oct with not enough oil just my .02

wiseco pistons all the way.

 

Long rod 4 mill will need a wiseco 795 series piston

 

Sort rod 4 mill will be able to run the standard series banshee pistons.

Where is the crack??? Makes all the difference. No, lack of oil will not cause piston cracking but it will cause seizure. Maybe a pic will help.
