bansheeqc Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 I actually use klotz super techniplate and i want to know if the motul 800 oil it's good enough to run in drag motor on race gas Quote
3SGTE Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 use it at 50-55:1 and you never return to klotz when you see the inside of your engine Quote
blanco25 Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 ive ran the motul for 4 years without any problems. none of my bikes detonated. and many builders told me to use it, good for powervalves. i talked to hjr and he runs supertechniplate so im going to give it a try. got to love that smell. couldn't go wrong with either of those oils though. motul costs more though. RIPPEN Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 use it at 50-55:1 and you never return to klotz when you see the inside of your engine Kinda chuckle when I read posts like this. Its just I doubt that there is near as big of difference you imply. As per my builder I have ran Klotz and have been very happy with it and like blanco25 mentioned hjr recommends klotz as well. Two reputable builders right there that run Klotz. Iam not saying motul is better or worse as I have no experience with it.. But Iam confident in saying if there is a benefit with it I doubt its as drastic as implied. RIPPEN Quote
3SGTE Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 (edited) klotz is the best syntec 2stroke oil in 1995...now you can find better I use klotz in power exhaust valve engine some year ago and cleaning it's a nightmare Edited May 16, 2009 by 3SGTE Quote
bansheeqc Posted May 18, 2009 Author Report Posted May 18, 2009 thank for the information I try it today on a 1/3 c12 and 2/3 premium mix today and appear to do the job great. But not smell like supertechniplate. Quote
