Had it running fine took for ride died andwon't start now. I have intermit spark but won't pop or kick also new CDI any help would be great. Could it be the coil or caps?

make sure where you ground wire is that all the paint has been cleaned off good...it could be a dead wire some where along the lines...could even possibley in the kill switch

youll just have to switch it out with another one....if you got a buddy that has a banshee swap the coils out as well you'll just have to elimate one thing at a time

but the bike ran fine then just quit haven't touched the ground. Kill switch maybe how do I test key and kill switches?

easiest way is at the cdi. put one lead on ground, and the other on the black/white wire. you should get contiuity with the kill switch in off, and none in run. now, do the red/black wire. it should have continuity with ground when the key is on, and none when the key is off. the caps are one of the first things to replace, and they are cheap.

See how different the responses are without a smart ass title about owning a 450 on a banshee forum! You really should only post the same question in one forum though. We typically frequent all forums and don't like reading the same stuff in multiple places. People may stop responding all together if that becomes a habit.

pull the stator cover off..Check the pickup coil for your fly wheel.Make sure its not loose and see if the clearence is about a buisness card between the pickup and flywheel. Also grab the fly wheel and make sure its not loose or worked the woodruff key around or come completetly out.while the cover is off make sure none of the stator wires are rubbing on the flywheel and grounding out..repost again and let us know..thanks,JB
