  2. not yet, going to take to a shop can't deal with it anymore just wondering if it could be the crank seals.
  3. aright from the top new choke, tube in place float set,carbs clean jetting close, seems like it has air leak somewhere leaning it out. whon't kick cold spay carbs with gas fires right up, after it's alittle warm kick on it's own.any help would be great thanks guys
  4. whats going on guys? anybody heard of crank seals causing starting problems when cold? when it's warmed p it kicks over. also takes while to come down to idle after reving it. thanks. 99 banshee
  5. alright went up tp 280's on the mains now it bogs going back to 270's it ran good WOT. changed pilots to 27.5's and moved needle clip to stock position runs like shit hesitates like crazy. screws out 2 turns. it start easier idles good. throttle response of idle is good. but 1/2 to WOT runs like shit.now a hesitation means lean right bog means rich? haven't done plug chop yet will do friday. now as far as the needle clip it's at stock position. It ran better when it was set all the way to the top, lean. but I don't wan't to leave it there and blow the motor. trial and error I guess.
  6. alright i'll check the choke jet in the bowl. slides are in right as far as the main i'm gonna go up to 280's see how it runs WOT is pretty good no bog or hesitation. I replaced the plunger recently so I know its not that. the nipple is flat from what I can see. other than the hard start run good. will do plug chop but its hard to find somewhere to hit 6th wide open without worring about a car or cops. thanks again man I really aprpeciate all your help somewhat new to shees.
  7. the needles at second clip from point airscrews at 1 1/2 out. WOT great no bog or hesitation. can only go one more on clip. I'll try the airscrews in a 1/4 turn see how it starts. it's only when it's cold after I warm it up one kick fires right up. I put tors removal kit in over weekend possible air leak were idle screws were put in. wat would you use to seal? thanks again

  9. up or down in winter. I will try going bigger till it bogs then go down one. It's still hard to start. Dealership didn't have 27.5 pilot but idles and runs good up to 1/4. thanks again for all your help.

  17. it ran good on first ride. with same jets needle clip was set all the way up. I moved it dead center and runs like shit. If I pull choke out idles really high wouldn't that be rich?so I should up mains and richen needle? i'm gonna try what u said before this weekend then I will know whats in for jets

  19. ok couldn't tell you what's in there now but it kicks and idles fine. little bog on quarter to half throttle. when I hit WOT it wants to die. any suggestions?

I have a 99 with k&n filter no lid fmf knarly pipes and silencers boysen reeds TORS unpluged clip set at dead center.1450ft ABSL what should I be running for jets? mains, pilot...ectair screws at 1 1/2 turns out seems to flood after WOT checked floats are good carbs are clean new needle seat. thanks
  22. sorry to cut in on your topic but I have the same problem carbs have been rebuilt. checked them today everything looks good floats good. waiting on a coil to see if it's good now also adjusted needle height was to rich.

  24. was out riding yesterday and shee died. started pissin fuel out overflow when it's kicked. have gone through bike several times especially the carbs. seems that spark is there then gone.starting to think coil or wires and floats adjusted to high. only dies when riding in WOT if I take it easy it's fine. only floods after getting on it. guy who set carbs said he set it to run little rich could that cause it to flood at WOT. any info would be great thanks
