I have a Garmin with Parks & Rec maps and I love it. Handlebar mounted, shows snowmobile trails, two-ruts, probably got your shortcut to your fav fishin' hole on this sucker!

I have a Garmin 60CSx. I loaded U.S. Topo 2008, Chesapeake Bay Blue Charts v5, Chesapeake Bay Tides and Marine Services v5, and City Select North America v7.

banshee_terror_, you have been misinformed. I can be anywhere on land, water, or driving, and never be lost. Not to mention, you can track where you've been, and plot routes that you want to take.

I had a buddy throw his shit on mine, I believe he said it was called Parks and Recreation Maps. I had bought the Topo's, he swore what I needed was the P&R's. They are great, just don't have the elevation contours. They have roads, streets, lakes(no depths) and just about anything you would call a trail. I would at least check them out!

haha. He's gonna wish he didn't, one day. Garmin only gives you 2 certificates for each CD. If he loses his GPS, or if it takes a shit, he's gonna have to buy a new CD. You lucked out though.
