Yamaha4ever Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 i got a 99 banshee fmf fattys with powercore II silencers, bord .65 over ported and polished...boyensen reeds, about 15 hours on fresh top end. weisco pistons... well anyway it takes a while to get my banshee started... i replaced the coil and boots. new plugs... it takes 5 or so minutes to start sometimes less... it will start and die start and die and finally it will roar to life and run great the rest of the day... but if i spray some starting fluid down the carbs it stars right up and runs fine... i dont know my jet sizes i will take the carbs off this weekend and update everyone... any help is greatly appreciated Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 ^ what he said. the bike will still run fine if you burnt the rings out a little bit once it is running since they will expand when its hot it will start hard Quote

Klaus Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 Hey guys. Mine did the same, I did the post a while back on float bowls being switched around. Just check that they are the right way around, if they arnt, your choke circuit will not work. Quote
